Erik Frikstad appointed Group Officer for Electro & Wholesale

Erik Frikstad has been appointed as the new Group Officer for Electro & Wholesale at Melbye and will join the company’s executive management team. In his new role, he will be responsible for Melbye’s electro and wholesale operations across the Nordic region, including the customer service department. He will also continue to hold his group-wide responsibility for digitalisation.

He combines extensive industry experience with a genuine drive for innovation and technological development. With this new role, we’re strengthening the link between technology, customers, and business – and that’s exactly what we need right now, says Group CEO Kristin Melsnes.

Frikstad is a qualified electrician and electrical power engineer and has held senior positions within both the power grid and energy sectors. He is also in the final stages of completing a master’s degree in economics and leadership at UiT.

Frikstad takes over responsibility for Electro & Wholesale from Anders Granheim, who is moving on to a new role as CEO of the power grid company Føie.
